
Greetings
The symposium program, organized by IMEG and the Graduate School of Medical Sciences Kumamoto University, includes a diverse range of invited speakers in the field of epigenetics from institutions in Japan and worldwide. This symposium focuses on various systems of epigenetic issues in health and disease states. Topics will cover the nature of epigenetic regulations in reproduction, stem cell maintenance, early embryo genesis, organ development, metabolism, and inflammation. The meeting is three days long and is held in Kumamoto, Japan, to foster scientific communications, lasting collaborations, and friendships. In addition to talks by invited speakers from Japan and abroad, the symposium has designated time for poster sessions from postdocs and students. Participants of all career stages are welcome to join the symposium.
